A break-out flasher when it first hit the market in 2002, the SBF-90 heralded a new era of technology, reliability, and affordability for school bus flashers. Dealers and distributors all over North America began using the SBF-90 to replace older styles of eight lamp flashers. School bus manufacturers quickly adopted the SBF-90 and its companion, the SBF-94, realizing cost savings in both the short and long term. While the SBF-90 utilizes Faston terminals and is a direct replacement for other solid state type flashers, the SBF-94 utilizes an industry-standard connector. The flashers offer industry-required functionality, with the advantage of a very efficient power switching design.
